From Hearth Brush to Hand-held Sander
From Hearth Brush to Hand-held Sander
An old hearth brush (hearth/fireside broom) whose bristles have worn away their usefulness, still has a useful plastic or wooden handle if screwed to a sandpaper-covered block of wood or simply has sandpaper glued to it after the bristles have been cut away or otherwise removed.
These handles have still plenty of life left in them.
